Vitamin C Infusion
Ascorbic acid is the water-soluble form of vitamin C. It is considered a potent antioxidant, and studies suggest that this nutrient may assist in the prevention of early death from heart disease and cancer.
Along with its antioxidant benefits, ascorbic acid plays a primary role in collagen formation, which is essential for the growth and repair of tissue cells, gums, blood vessels, bones and teeth. Older people and smokers have a much greater need for this vitamin than younger individuals.
Myers' Cocktail
The late Dr. John Myers, MD used an intravenous vitamin-and-mineral formula for the treatment of a wide range of clinical conditions. “Myers’ Cocktail” consists of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins, and vitamin C, and has been found to be effective against acute asthma attacks, migraines, fatigue (including chronic fatigue syndrome), fibromyalgia, acute muscle spasm, upper respiratory tract infections, chronic sinusitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis, cardiovascular disease, and other disorders.
Mineral Infusion
Maintaining mineral balance is essential to good health. Minerals and trace minerals are an essential factor in the proper function and structure of all living cells. Similar to vitamins, minerals function as coenzymes that promote bodily performance, energy, growth and healing.
Amino Acid Infusion
Amino acids are the "building blocks" of the body. Along with building cells and repairing tissue, they form antibodies that combat invading bacteria and viruses, are part of the enzyme and hormonal system, build nucleoproteins (RNA and DNA), carry oxygen throughout the body, and participate in muscle activity.
When protein is broken down by digestion, 22 known amino acids remain. Eight are essential, meaning that they cannot be manufactured by the body. The rest are non-essential, meaning that they can be manufactured by the body, but only with proper nutrition.
This infusion treats malabsorption and gastrointestinal disorders and also can benefit patients that suffer from tissue wasting, depression and addiction.
